Terms and Conditions

The very important and useful information to know. Please do read them before you purchase and get in touch with us if there’s anything that you’re concerned about. None of our Terms and Conditions affect your statutory rights. 

These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales via our web site or telephone sales. 

1. Product Specification 

Many of our products for sale are genuine old, antique or vintage items and will be clearly described as such. It is likely their condition will reflect their age and any significant wear, markings, etc. will be highlighted. Vintage condition is not considered damage or faulty. If you want more details on any product please contact us before purchasing.

Other products are new or made-to-order and will be described as such. 

2. Measurements 

We provide approximate dimensions of furniture but access for delivery to your room of choice is your responsibility. If you need more information on particular items please contact us and we will help as much as possible.

3. Prices 

All prices include VAT at the current rate but exclude delivery.

4. Payments 

Chic-osity accepts payment by all major credit cards and debit cards.

5. Delivery 

We post all items within 2-7 days of ordering, via Royal Mail xxx In the event of an item arriving damaged, please let us know within 48 hours.

Larger items like furniture can be collected from us in Newcastle upon Tyne. Alternatively we will arrange delivery anywhere in the UK through one of our couriers, and will quote prior to purchase if you email us your postcode and details of which item you are interested in. 

If you are unable to take delivery of your goods on the confirmed delivery date, we reserve the right to charge you further for any subsequent deliveries. 

If we accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery, then our liability for that damage is limited to the repair, refund or replacement of the goods or the value. 

Delivery and postage prices quoted are for UK mainland delivery. We are always happy to quote for posting overseas, please just email us for a quote. 

6. Returns and Refunds

We will accept returns of all items except those antique, old or Vintage. Please inform us within 48 hours of delivery that you wish to return an item. They must be returned within 14 days. Once received back we will refund in full less any delivery charges (unless the goods are faulty or incorrect) within 7 working days. Any return delivery charges will be payable by you. Please ensure you get a proof of postage when returning items.

7. Web Site 

We make every effort to show every product as accurately as possible but due to limitations and differences between monitors there may be slight colour differences to those displayed.

We endeavour to ensure the accuracy of our web site however it is possible some errors may occur. We will make every effort to rectify any errors as soon as possible but we cannot be held responsible.

We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you.Any material downloaded or obtained from our website is done so entirely at your own risk.
